Oh, yikes. I thought you said it was an ok picture. YOU look good, Annette. What happened to my hair?! Nice tan lines on me, too. lol!
Annette is just as amazing in person as I knew she would be. And her two daughters just beam! They are both such gorgeous girls on the inside and out.
Annette’s daughter, Katheryn, made a delicious and nutritious lunch for us, and Tara gave my daughter a piano lesson after demonstrating her musical talents herself. Her two girls played badminton with my younger kiddos (and were very patient teaching them how to play). They also taught Delaney how to play a Dutch card game! We crammed even more into those few hours — card tricks, riddles, more food, a walk, and lots of talking… I really wish we’d been able to stay longer. And, after treating us to food and fun, she also gave us gifts and lent me a book. What a wonderful family. I just wish we lived closer so we could do this more often.
Speaking of which… are you headed to Florida any time, soon?
