Simple Woman’s Daybook Meme - 11/17/08

Photobucket

This is my first time at this meme but I really liked the idea so… here goes! :-)

FOR TODAY Monday, November 17, 2008

Outside my window… there are adorable finches eating on my sock feeders and little white fluffy things falling out of the sky!

I am thinking… that I’m not ready for those little white fluffy things and wondering how G-d is going to use me today for His glory!

I am thankful for… my husband who got up at 4am this morning to make it to his early morning meeting. He’s a fabulous provider, lover and friend to me!

From the learning rooms … youngest will be working hard on her Mozart piece that’s super hard and she has an accompaniment deadline for. Oldest will be finishing up one of two wonderful stories she is writing for her writing contests.

From the kitchen… Challah Bread smells will be wafting through the house soon!

I am wearing… my fleece snugli - it’s still early morning and c-c-c-old in the house!

I am creating…nothing! I have a book in my head and 10,000 scrapbook pages I want to create. Just do it!

I am going… to enjoy life to the fullest today!

I am reading… the book of Esther in the bible and wanting to be a woman for “such a time as this”.

I am hoping… the snow doesn’t stick - yet!

I am hearing … the boiler in the basement working hard to heat up the house and the cat’s water fountain trickling.

Around the house… it’s very quiet - hubs is gone and kids are still in bed.

One of my favorite things… watching the finches “fight” with each other for space on the sock feeders.

A few plans for the rest of the week: Get it done!!!

Here is picture thought I am sharing… Here’s a little video of the birds on the sock feeder - it’s through my dirty window - sorry! :-)
