Blogging for Chocolate - Part 14- MLS3
This post is part of the Blogging for Chocolate Contest over at MomsTalkRadio.com
Well this has been a fun day so far! I’ve enjoyed listening to all the fun shows over at MomsTalkRadio.com and I hope if nothing else as you’ve read my quick posts that you’ve taken some time to pop over there and listen yourself! These moms are great and they like chocolate like me - and they give it away for free! Wee hoo! Is it any wonder why I like them all so much!
Ok, so I’m back to cheering on Crystal Paine as she talks with Chele over at Moms Love Shopping in part two of their interview. This one is especially fun because Crystal and Chele talk about the fun parts of strategic shopping - getting things for free or even getting cash back on their shopping! Wow! I may turn into a coupon convert yet! She talks about how she gets almost all of her toothpaste, shampoo, feminine products, deoderant, etc for FREE or with cash back using some specific uses of coupons and cash back bucks at certain stores. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how to do it (remember - coupon phobic here) and there’s really no need to because Crystal lays it out pretty clearly on her blog and if you subscribe to her newsletter - you’re all set!
We have a brand new CVS store pretty close by and I drive past it every time I head on my monthly trip to Costco for our bulk items, so I might need to pull off some of these coupons and give her methods a try. Hmmm…. it sounds like it’s a pretty big commitment to me, however - not like it’s something you can decide to do right before you head out to the store, but you need to sit and plan out the trip and be really strategic about it. She may lose me there - but I’m willing to give it a whirl - or use it as a Home Ec course for my girls and let THEM experiment with it!
(gotta love homeschooling - learn as we go along in life! YAY!)
Ok, I promise that this is the last blog post about Crystal at least for today. As you can tell, I think pretty highly of her. I’m so glad Chele was able to interview her both times. Great stuff!
